Dear Robin.
I’m really honoured to have the possiblity to interview you, mostly because we have the same cynical and dark vision about life: what do you answer to all those that tell you that you’re living poorly?
Hi Francesca,
Well I’m honoured to be interviewed – Thank you very much!
I would agree that I tend to have a rather dark and cynical attitudes towards life but I think most of the conflict in my life comes from the fact that I also have a real belief in the good that people are capable of as well. I guess I would describe myself as an optimistic Pessimist. Or maybe I’m a pessimistic Optimist?
And what do I answer to those that tell I am living poorly? Who tells me I am living poorly?! I accept that maybe I tend to view life a little more closely than some and yes, maybe I am a little more sensitive to what I see as the good and bad in the world but as Socrates said “The unexamined isn’t worth living” and that is something that I live by as well.
Is that living poorly? I don’t think so!
