Dopo aver vinto il “Best live act” ai Q Awards 2004, sono in lizza anche per i MTV EMA come best alternative act e best UK&Ireland act.
Nell’attesa di sapere nuovi premi giunge una notizia presa da un live del tour negli states.
Una nuova canzone chiamata ‘DES’ (probabilmente un’abbreviazione) è stata suonata negli States. Ed tornata in scaletta anche Micro cuts

“It was rock. no piano. only guitar. very intense. the chorus had amazing vocals. lots of cool breaks. it was amazing. i realize it’s not the most adequate description. i think you had to be there. i can say that the guitar riff was really cool too. it’s just a great song.
the riff wasn’t as fast as either of those songs.(SS and PiB)
the chorus could sort of be compared to stockholm because it had a change in tempo. but, it was a bit more mellow than stockholm. and, more intense than plug in baby. but, it certainly can’t be described as “weaker.” the vocals were very powerful.
not as poppy as time is running out. i guess tiro is not that poppy…maybe catchy is the word. more intense than sing for absolution. it was a rock song straight through….not just at the end. as for apocalypse…can’t be compared. i can say that, in my opinion, it was much better than apocalypse.”
